# Descriptions


`BuilderSpec` and `BuilderOp` are generated datatypes. They are the
typed backing for validation, schemas, docs, dependency views, and
program interpretation.

Domain datatypes keep payloads typed before programs interpret them:
sources, dependencies, tools, outputs, evidence, validations,
descriptors, and parameters.
